A fascinating place to visit

As the opal capital of the world, the town of Coober Pedy is a fascinating place to visit, yet with summer temperatures regularly soaring into the mid-forties it can be a tough place to live. So, what attracts people to move to the middle of nowhere if they aren’t gem seekers? God of course!

Exciting news for Coober Pedy

Today I am delighted to announce some very exciting news. The iconic town of Coober Pedy in the Diocese of Willochra, which has been without Field Staff since April 2018, will welcome a new ministry couple in 2024. Dave & Margie Wood commence serving in the opal mining town next March.
