Why are we so surprised?
I was in the small flat in Ngukurr with my colleague, Karen. We were intentionally reconnecting with students who were part of the Faith & Family course at Nungalinya. Rachel* had popped in to see us, the conversation soon turned to the impact of the course.

Acknowledging our First Nations Peoples
It was a joy to celebrate NAIDOC Week at Saltbush Evangelical Church earlier this year. A special NAIDOC Week Celebration Service was held in July as a way of acknowledging the First Nations People in our church, the wider Broken Hill community, and throughout the far-reaching corners of our nation.

Answering God's call to ministry
We officially welcomed Lonny Bendessi to the BCA family in August this year when we commenced supporting him with a theological bursary. Lonny is currently doing an Associate Degree in Ministry at Ridley College.

A vastly different ministry, but one reaping rewards
Hello from the Harradine’s. We have been back in South Australia since January. Our work here is vastly different to Broken Hill. We still miss our church family in the Hill, but we have had to quickly adjust to a new way of living and ministering.
