Mike & Sandra Uptin

Sarah McKinnon

Mike Uptin commenced in the position of QLD/NNSW Regional Officer in February 2021. He works together with Administration Assistant Sarah McKinnon to care for Field Staff, encourage support of BCA and keep supporters up to date.

The Queensland / Northern New South Wales Regional Office is located in Brisbane and supports the work of BCA across five Anglican Dioceses: North Queensland, Central Queensland, Southern Queensland, Grafton and Armidale. BCA has historically worked in all five dioceses and currently has ministry workers in four of them (NQ, CQ, Grafton and Armidale). Over 60 percent of the population of the region live in the southeast corner of Queensland.

Praise God for the opportunities to gather as BCA friends and supporters at the four Southeast Queensland BCA Connect events in early April. Pray that many would attend and that those who do would be led to rejoice in what God is doing.

For Mike & Sandra, 1 Peter 1:8 reminds them of two faithful older couples they knew at St Phil’s Caringbah in Sydney. These couples embodied the joy that Peter speaks of. Pray that we all may shine forth joy in our words, thoughts and actions.
