Serving with BCA since January 2025

Gladstone isn’t a new location for BCA, but it is over 40 years since Clyde & Janice Andrews served in this Central Queensland town.

The Brownes will work together as  joint priests-in -Charge at Gladstone Anglican. 

Both David & Zoë are convinced of the need for people to profess Christ and are keen to guide people in evangelism and outreach into the community. The community of Gladstone is six times that of their current parish in Dalby, so the mission field is great.

Please pray for Micah and Jude as they settle into their new school and for us as we settle into our new parish.

Praise for good relationship building within the church and across the wider community

Praise God for children and families returning to services — one Sunday, we had two kids at St Saviour’s and eight at St Peter’s!

Pray these families will feel welcomed and encouraged to return each week.

Pray for diligence and wisdom as we preach through Lent and prepare to celebrate our first Easter in Gladstone.

Give thanks for services across Gladstone over Easter and the opportunity to proclaim the good news.

Pray for energy and opportunity to follow up with visitors from Easter. Give thanks for safe travel and for taking a few days to see family after Easter.

Pray for our Hope25 preaching series to be an encouragement for regular members and newcomers alike.
