Serving with BCA since January 2025

Those of you who have been BCA supporters for some time, will remember that the Piper family served with us in Lightning Ridge from 2013–2019. Since then, the family has served in Gunnedah in the Northwest Slopes Region of New South Wales.

While both David & Joanne grew up in Sydney, they really enjoy working in the bush and are keen to serve in remote locations because of the great need there.

We're excited to be here in Emerald and Blackwater; getting to know the congregations and the towns, and looking forward to working with them to sow the Good News and grow fruitful followers.

Pray that we will see lives transformed over the Sunflower festival, Easter and HOPE25 outreach.

Pray that we will see lives transformed over the Sunflower festival, Easter and HOPE25 outreach. Pray that we, and the church, would do nothing in our own strength but that we would be faithful and persistent in prayer.

Pray for the Evangelistic course we're running, starting in the first week of May. Pray for effective advertising during April and that people will invite their friends and family.

Thank God for the faithful saints in Blackwater. Pray for wisdom in how to reach this mining town. Pray that David will express God’s truth meaningfully.

Pray for a good team to run an Alpha-style course starting Sunday 4 May, and that church members would be keen to invite.

Give thanks for the ministry and encouragement of BCA Nomads. Give thanks for the people who keep St Luke’s Shop running and for the contact it provides with people from our community.
