Mission Profile

Nungalinya College Chaplaincy Program

This pilot program in partnership with Nungalinya seeks to offer Indigenous leaders the opportunity to use skills developed during their Applied Ministry course. For each four week Foundations Block, a different chaplain will be invited to work alongside the Deans.

The Chaplaincy Program Prayer Points for Winter 2024

  • Wisdom as the Deans and Chaplains reflect on their work together each day. May we be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit as we plan our days, and be open to new directions in our engagement with students and teachers.
  • Courage for the Chaplains to have the confidence in God’s calling on their lives in this new field, and so be able to share their thoughts and ideas for new ways of working alongside the Deans.
  • Opportunities for the Chaplains to find new ways of building positive relationships with the students so that they are then able to offer support and encouragement to a broader cross section of the student body.
