James & Charly Boardman

Serving with BCA since January 2023

James, Charly, Elijah, Joshua & Hannah Boardman moved from Sydney to Bathurst in January 2023. James completed a Bachelor of Divinity at Moore College in 2022 and serves with BCA as a ministry trainee at the Cathedral Parish in the Diocese of Bathurst. James & Charly are excited to see the ways God grows them in maturity and what opportunities He will grant them to testify to His glory.

Bathurst is Australia’s oldest inland settlement and was the site of the country’s first gold discovery. BCA works together with the Diocese of Bathurst to fund a student minister in the Diocese. We previously supported Steven Klouth and he now serves with BCA and the diocese in West Wyalong. The aim of this role is to provide a pathway for new college graduates to train for future ministry.

Please pray that God would raise up more leaders for Playtime and also for a leader to re-establish Playtime at the Cathedral.

May God inspire people to come to our Easter Services and may that lead them to attend Hope Explored in May.

Please pray that we would have great joy in the Lord as we celebrate our Bicentenary on 3 May. May those who attend who don’t yet know Jesus, hear the hope we have in Christ and put their faith in him.

The Boardman's Prayer Points for May 2025

Please pray that our Hope Explored course would be well attended. May we be bold as a parish in inviting people to the course and may it lead to us upskilling in evangelism as a parish.
