Kylie & Matt Garrett

Ava (2008)

Serving with BCA January 2023–December 2024

Kylie & Matt Garrett, together with their youngest daughter Ava, moved to Darwin in 2023 where Kylie works as the SU Australia (NT) Field Development Manager. In this BCA-supported role, Kylie looks after Religious Instruction (Scripture/SRE), Chaplaincy, SUPA Clubs (primary) and ISCF groups (secondary) in the Darwin area.

The SU Australia (NT) Field Development Manager leads and develops schools’ ministry in Darwin. The Manager recruits, trains and oversees a team of chaplains and volunteer Religious Instruction/Education teachers. The role also involves personally teaching RI/RE as well as visiting churches and other supporters to build networks and grow SU’s school’s ministry in the region. This position is a partnership between BCA and SU Australia.

The Garrett's Prayer Points for October 2024

Pray for our annual SU fundraiser on 26 October. Pray for a profound sense of community and for funds raised to extend and strengthen the ministry we do across the Territory.

The Garrett's Prayer Points for November 2024

Pray for our RI teams as we prepare to share the Good News of Christmas; for God’s provision of volunteers, supplies and open hearts. Pray for our Chaplains supporting their schools in the final term for the year. May they not grow weary!
