Ben & Alissa Connelly together with their children Josiah and Vivienne moved to Cowra in January 2023. Ben is the Minister in charge of St John’s Anglican Church. Prior to their move, Ben served at Narrabri Anglican. The Connellys pray that God will grow his church in Cowra.

Cowra is a small town in the New South Wales Central West, set on the banks of the Lachlan River approximately 305 kms Southwest of Sydney. Cowra has a population of just under 10,000 and is surrounded by vineyards, waterways and beautiful countryside.


The Connelly's Prayer Points for March 2025

Thank God for the continued good relationship with local schools and the chance to teach SRE.

Praise God for a good start to the year for Protestant School Scripture and for the number of children in our classes.

Please pray that students who attend will grow in their knowledge and love of God

The Connelly's Prayer Points for April 2025

Pray that the people who visited over Easter will be moved to return to church. Pray that God will use all the Easter services that happened in town to help people meet Jesus.

The Connelly's Prayer Points for May 2025

Pray that God will use the HOPE25 initiative to grow His church. May people attend our HOPE25 events and services and pray that we will have good systems in place to follow-up those who attend a service.
