Rob & Michelle Edwards, together with their sons Nathan, Josh and Pete commenced leading the Strathfieldsaye Community Church in May 2020. Strathfieldsaye is on the outskirts of Bendigo where the Edwards worked in youth, young adult and children’s ministry for sixteen years. “It is our prayer that the church will continue to be a shining light to the community.”

Strathfieldsaye is a rapidly growing rural/residential town about 10 kilometres south-east of Bendigo in Victoria. The Strathfieldsaye Community Church, a joint venture between the Anglican and Uniting churches, holds a traditional service on Sunday at 9.30am and a family service at 4pm.

Pray that God will raise up leaders for our kids’ ministry and our newly started youth group.

Praise God for the teens who attend our youth group; may they be discipled and invite their friends along.

Thank God for our Easter services. Pray that our church will proclaim the Gospel faithfully, and that believers who attend will be renewed in their faith, and those who hear the Gospel for the first time will respond with repentance and faith.

Pray that locals who are new to town will find our church and find Jesus.

Thank God for those who have joined our church over the past year and for the relationships they have built. Pray that they will be empowered to serve.
