The Faricy family moved to Kununurra in August 2017 where they serve at St James’ Anglican Church. In his role as Minister in Charge, Daniel aims to proclaim the good news of Jesus and present everyone mature in Christ. Rebecca is a full-time mum to Rachael, Jessica & Emily; she also enjoys getting involved in ministry.
Kununurra is a mining and agricultural town in north-west Australia. It is located in the far east of the Kimberley and is only 37 kilometres from the Northern Territory border. There is a population of approximately 7,000, about half of whom are Indigenous peoples.
The Faricy's Prayer Points for March 2025
This term, our church will learn a short two-minute gospel outline based on John 3:16. Please ask that God would give our church confidence and the opportunity to share the good news of Jesus.
Give thanks for our newly elected parish council. Ask that God grant us wisdom this year as we make decisions regarding ministry, finances, and the stewardship of our buildings.
A student-led Christian group is starting in our local school (started 24 Feb). Pray for the student leaders that they will be encouraged as they start this and that students will come along.
The Faricy's Prayer Points for April 2025
Pray for the first combined youth camp with Broome Anglican at the end of the month. Ask that youth will be encouraged in their faith and that non-Christian youth would turn to Jesus. Pray for energy for the leaders and many good conversations.
Pray for our Easter services that many from the community will come and hear the good news of Jesus.
Ask that God would raise up another leader to join the team and serve at our Kununurra Kids Club.
