The Kyngdons have lived in the Pilbara since December 2017 where Roger is the Minister in Charge of the Parish of Newman. Together with their children, Roger & Amanda make connections in the church and the local community and spread the good news of Jesus.

Newman is a mining town in the heart of the Pilbara. It is a very young and multicultural town of around 3,000 people and additional fly-in-fly-out workers. As Newman is quite isolated from surrounding towns, there is a real sense of community in town. There are lots of children but few teenagers, as high-schoolers usually go away to boarding school.

As the warmer weather approaches, we give thanks for air conditioning and the comfort it brings.

Pray that God will grow His church in Newman and that our people will grow in their faith and trust in Him.

Pray for our Christmas celebration preparations.

Pray that God will continue to speak through His word and encourage, challenge and rebuke His people.
