The Kyngdons have lived in the Pilbara since December 2017 where Roger is the Minister in Charge of the Parish of Newman. Together with their children, Roger & Amanda make connections in the church and the local community and spread the good news of Jesus.

Newman is a mining town in the heart of the Pilbara. It is a very young and multicultural town of around 3,000 people and additional fly-in-fly-out workers. As Newman is quite isolated from surrounding towns, there is a real sense of community in town. There are lots of children but few teenagers, as high-schoolers usually go away to boarding school.


The Kyngdon's Prayer Points for March 2025

Pray that the kids keep settling in well to the new school year.

Pray for new families to join the church and for a strong gospel focus as we reach out to our community.

The Kyngdon's Prayer Points for April 2025

Pray for opportunities to share the hope found in Jesus at Easter.

Pray also for Ada as she attends a CRU West camp in Perth; may she grow in her faith.

Pray that we will keep being a light for Jesus in our town.

Pray for preparations for our long service leave in Term 3.

Pray also that as the kids learn more about God at church they will always know the love of God.
