BCA return to Gladstone
Today I’m delighted to announce that we have new Field Staff joining the BCA community in 2025, supporting ministry in the Diocese of Central Queensland.
David & Zoe Browne, together with their children Micah and Jude, will commence serving in the coastal city of Gladstone on the southern Great Barrier Reef early next year.
Gladstone isn’t a new location for BCA, but it is over 40 years since Clyde & Janice Andrews served in this Central Queensland town.
The Brownes will work together as joint priests-in -Charge at Gladstone Anglican.
Both David & Zoe are convinced of the need for people to profess Christ and are keen to guide people in evangelism and outreach into the community. The community of Gladstone is six times that of their current parish in Dalby, so the mission field is great.
“I love the work of BCA and look forward to exploring how Zoe and I and our family might play a role in providing biblically faithful ministry and bringing the life-changing gospel message of Jesus to rural, regional and remote parts of Australia,” says David.
Please join with me in praying for the Brownes as they farewell their parish in Dalby and prepare to move to Gladstone in early 2025. Pray especially for the sadness that comes with leaving behind friends and the church community.
