For a decade, Ash read the Bible alone. No church. No teacher. No community. Just a young woman in pursuit of God, with no one to open the Word alongside her.

Then she moved to Katherine – and BCA Field Staff Pat & Issy O’Keeffe arrived. Ash says:

Then in February this year, Ash was baptised. One of five people who stood up on the same Sunday.

Right now, communities across rural, regional and remote Australia are still waiting for Gospel workers, so someone like Ash doesn’t need to read and comprehend the Bible alone.
