Vivien Bleby
Former BCA Field Staff from Cooper Pedy, Vivien knows well the challenges that come with ministry in the bush.
Married to Martin and with four adult children, Vivien has had a varied work life. Starting out in a nursing career, Vivien undertook many roles including a nurse educator. Since then, Vivien has been employed by the Diocese of Adelaide in various capacities, mainly in ministry development and education.
Vivien has also completed a number of training courses and biblical studies making her a highly qualified person for the position of RO.
When asked about her Christian journey, Vivien states: “I was brought up in a committed Christian family, and have been part of a church community all my life. During my early nursing days, I recognised my dependence on Christ, and His securing love for me. Over the ensuing years, through bible study, small group ministry, sermons, formal teaching sessions and life generally, I have continued to learn and grow in faith – and expect to continue to do so all my days”.
