Ray Phillips
A trained accountant, previously working for the Tasmanian government, Ray is now a Finance Officer for the Diocese of Tasmania. In this position he sees first hand the impact of the support given by BCA to the Diocese.
First becoming interested in BCA’s work through long time friend Greg Jones, Ray has participated in a number of jazz and blues fundraising events for BCA.
Ray is married to Helen and they have four adult children and two grand children. Helen is Priest in Charge of Howrah where Ray provides percussion for the music team.
When he isn’t crunching numbers or playing music, Ray enjoys surfing and sailing his family’s 35’yacht Aquila Star.
