Slockees Resign
It is with sadness that the Bishop of the Diocese of the Northern Territory has announced the resignation of Revd Tom Slockee from the position of Canon Missioner. Tom has cited personal reasons for his decision to leave.
The Rt Revd Greg Thompson commented that “in the brief time that they have been with us there has been great signs of God’s work among us, with much encouragement. They have made many friends and will be sorely missed. I recall with thankfulness Tom’s ability to communicate the gospel so clearly to the Arnhem churches when he travelled with me”.
The Society has supported Tom’s and Muriel’s ministry since 2003, firstly in Mogo and this year in the Northern Territory. Thank you for your prayerful and financial support for Tom over that period. Please pray for Tom and Muriel as they return to Batemans Bay.
